not everyone get to celebrate an Independence day.

I wonder how England feels every July 4? Whelp we really screwed that up letting them go.

I was born in England, lived there for 10 years then moved to the U.S., lived here just about 10 years as well (turning 20 in 2 days). I’m completely indifferent. Don’t celebrate Independence Day, but besides the overzealous patriotism and sleep loss, it doesn’t get up my cuff either.
