I’m afraid tape will ruin the paint, and wedging them between the window and roof won’t make ‘em stable enough, and completely shutting the window will slice off the stem. Maybe I should tape them to the inside? Your choice.
Also, I found the perfect name for my car: The Red Rumbler.

“The Red Rumbler”
That sounds like a painful sexual stimulation device.

Use some painters tape, it should be okay.

As long as the fabric doesn’t get any chance to come in contact with the paint work. As anyone who has put wedding ribbons on a car will tell you, even a silk ribbon flapping around will scratch your paint quite a bit.

If you use duct tape, and it leaves a resdiue, you can actually just scrub it with vegetable oil and it’ll dissolve it w/out damage to the paint

Tape them to the inside of the window and leave the window open a few inches

Tape won’t kill your paint. Unless you shop at Dollar General stores that sell crappy knock off junk.

Drill a hole in the roof but not through the head liner. Should work OK. :)
