My truck needs new tires and, well to be frank, I want some that can go around a corner. However the low rolling resistance bit is making me doubt the parelli badge. Anyome have any experiance with these?

Don’t know specifically about those, but Pirellis are generally rather soft and don’t last for an especially long time. They’re still good tires though, I’ve got Pzeros on my A4.

I’d say for a truck your best bet would be to go for a good set of Michelin’s. The Pirelli’s are good tires but Michelin does trucks much better.

Tire rack seems to like’em:

Unless you want something like Pzeros, It could be a nice choice, methink.

All-seasons, especially eco versions like that, are compromises all around. If you want better handling, you’d be much better with a set of summer tires. If you need to drive in a cold winter climate, get a set of winter tires for that.

General Grabber HTS
or if you want a more trucky tire, the AT2

Sold a lot of the pirelli scorpion ATR/STR tires. They do well enough off road (not great, but ok) and handle well. But you may get 40-50k miles out of them depending.
But that’s pirelli. Soft, grippy (on road surface), but not that long lasting.
Michilen MS/2’s are hard to beat as a suv truck tire period for all season use. But not much for well... cornering. But damn michilens mileage is hard to pass up.

I put those exact tires on my R500 a few thousand miles ago. So far so good. They’re quiet, smooth, handle well enough. No stand out performance aspects but everything they do is done well. I bought them because they seemed to be the best tire available for the money, and there was maybe one or two tires that would be marginally better but their costs were significantly higher making them not worth the meager performance gain.
