Saw a team of fire ants moving a piece of cat food. I would have let them live if they weren’t fire ants. A picture of them working together: go team. I need help identifying a spider. The pic will be second to save the arachnophobes.
It was very small (I thought it was another fire ant), shiny, almost a metallic sheen, it had little clubs near its mouth, and black bands on its front legs. I can't recall ever seeing one before. It disappeared right after I took the picture.

I can't help but watch when spiders catch and eat something.

Exterminating ants is a good thing. You let the jumping spider live right? They can play drums!
There also the only spider that when posted I won’t use the nuke gif on.

I always let spiders live unless it's a black widow. I usually relocate them to outside when I can. This one disappeared on me.

And much more eyes than most of us.
Then again, if he’s a he he may get eaten during coitus. So there’s that.

My cat eats spiders, moths and crickets, but I’ve never seen him eat ants.
