It is in much better shape than I thought it could be. This Raketa is a soviet design and mechanism but built just after the fall of the USSR so the face says “Made in Russia” in Cyrillic letters of course. Not bad for $50 shipped from russia and with a band.

Damn, awesome watch. Congratulations.
There are quite a few of them for $50 with free shipping on eBay. I want one with the 24h face. So cool.

Excellent work. My daily driver in the Russian wrist-wear department is a Poljot.

Samun_povt is the ebay guy I bought from and is known as the most reputable guy to buy Raketas from on ebay (Edit: wow that was bad grammar). I got my watch two weeks before the earliest arrival prediction. He also includes a video of the watch on a test machine with all of his listings.
