I failed ribs by running out of fuel. Haha but I’m sitting on 120 pound of charcoal and 50 pounds of apple wood.

Oh nice. I just use good old propane but running out of fuel has happened from time to time.
Every time it is rather tragic.

The last time I smoked something some embers blew into the grass and lit all our chips and my cousins back yard on fire

This was from one of the last times I smoked meats. 8# brisket on bottom, small pork shoulders & a pair of Bacon Xplosions.

I forgot applewood chips at the store last night. Will be starting a pork butt soon as well.

NICE!!! Are you in the Midwest, Southeast or Texas? Are you using an offset smoker if so how do you like it?

Awesome! Been thinking about stepping up to an offset. Let me know how it turns out. I’m just about to smoke some cod.
