You may think that 204 hp and 0-60 in 7.7 seconds isn’t fun, but this IS 250 feels faster than it actually is.
The V6 is so smooth it’s actually crazy how no engine vibrations enter the cabin.
The interior does have a lack of storage pockets, though. A minor inconvenience. The interior does feel very snug around you, which I like.

*This be your mother’s loaner car. ;-)

All IS have such good chassis. The 350 gets up pretty good for only 300HP.
Good chassis with minimal huevos = Dynamics AND Quality

I want one so much, god damn you 150% import tax :(

I keep getting confused like “Oh, he can drive! Wut no he can’t. Yes he can? Nope...”

Favorite part about that car is the line that travels from the tail light down the side skirt.

Is this part of the design or damage?

Why didn’t I just tell my wife, “We could put down 20% for our new home, or we could by a IS350 for me, I mean, us.”

Ive driven many IS cars. Ive always been impressed by the steering and handling of it. Buuuutt.. It needs a significant increase in power and torque to really make it fun.
I really like the way they look too, even the predator face ones.

I drove it and a 350, and ultimately hated the lack of space. I ended up with a 328i and have never regretted it.

I know...I don’t know how to write articles without mentioning that I can't drive

Ask for an RC F and see what happens.

That’s also my favorite part.

Previous driver curbed it.

It’s so sad, this car has potential, but Lexus insists they're not making an IS F.

You did it in a comment so how hard can it be! I can’t drive either! Kinda.

Well it’s awkward if you talk about driving dynamics and then say it’s from what you felt in the passenger seat, isn’t it?

No reason to do another IS F when they have the GS F now. That should be utterly fanfuckingtastic to drive.
The RC chassis is very stiff, but it is far too heavy to really have fun. It understeers at anything close to tepid turn-in.
The GS is one of the best handling sedans around. Adding that amazing V8 is going to make the GS bonkers cool.

Really? That stinks, the last one was so nice

Hopefully the GS F can overcome the current segment interest of “more power is better” with sheer handling. Most people buy midsizers for power, so only true enthusiasts will buy this GS F.

Some BS claim about how the current IS can’t fit the V8 is causing it.

Since when have we called the GS “mid-size”? lol.
I’d call the GS a big car. The LS is enormous.

I’m not a big fan of the first generation (despite the long-roof option), but the current one pre-predator-face is quite likeable. It feels a bit cramped, so I prefer the GS (again, sans predator-face).

The GS is a midsize because the government wants you to think that.
I thought the LS was big too…until I saw a XJ L. That’s properly huge.

The problem is that the pre-predator face cars had terrible interiors.

I go through the same struggle as well when describing things that happen to my Parent’s cars. :-P
I can relate to him.

Yeah me too, I’ve only got a permit.
