Here’s a Mk111 Fiesta.
Nothing unusual about that.
Except that is has one of these
A Sarich two stroke, a thing much experimented with at the time before being discarded due to the emissions being higher than predicted by its inventor. Ford made 60 of these and issued some to the UK police for real life testing, intending to fit the engine to the forthcoming Ka. A couple survive in museums.

Jack and tyre iron under the bonnet.
I loved these old Fiestas.

Several cars used to have the spare there too.
Bristol, on the other hand, kept their spares in a separate compartment in the front wing.

I’ve only ever come across it personally in the Fiesta. I was woken by a friend in the years hours of the morning when I was younger, she got a flat tyre and knew the car had a spare but didn’t know where it was or how to change it if she did.
Bristol have always been a bit out there.

Yes, you can get too much of tilt-shift photography.

Wasn’t there also a Bristol that had a sink or basin in this location? I’ve seen it in pictures but can’t remember if it was a Bristol or similar.

I vaguely remember pictures too although I’m not sure if it was a Bristol.

I’m trying to resist the urge to Google every car and description I can think of. :(

Splendid. So you could literally bring the kitchen sink with you when you went on your hols!
