I’m Commander Dunnik and this is my favorite game on the Citadel.

If you haven’t played it, do yourself a favor and get the trilogy for console or PC.

Amazing trilogy. Basically went without sleep for 2 weeks this spring to binge and beat it. My personal favorite was ME 2. Also, the funniest part is always who you decide to romance.

Love these games. Few games tell such a compelling story.

I was really bummed out a fewcyears ago when I started playing them because my laptop could play the first two but couldn’t run the third. Last year I finally upgraded to a more powerful one and the first thing I did was play 3.

YES. I finally got around to playing ME3 (and the Citadel DLC, which is well worth it) last year. Definitely my favourite series of all time.

Also, if you haven’t before, try playing as female Shepard. Jennifer Hale’s voice acting is top-notch, and she comes across as far more badass than male Shepard. Also, that means that you can romance Garrus, which is hilarious and adorable (and absolutely heartbreaking in ME3). Shepard and Garrus 4ever.

ME:1 - ALL THE CLICKING!

ME:2 - ALL THE SILLINESS!

ME:3 - ALL THE FEELS!

Seriously, the 2nd was probably better for gameplay enjoyment and party dialogue. Having to be in the middle of crew conflicts got interesting. And the loyalty missions had some good writing. But the feels trip you took in 3 was striking. Not to spoil it if you didn’t do it yet, but saving the elcor on Dekunna has on of the most horrific lines ever uttered by anyone in that game......and it’s from a damn elcor !

I hate it when games let you name yourself, but then NEVER mention you given name ever again. Zelda got it right:

According to Bioware, most people tend to play as a male Shep, but, also according to Bioware, they’re missing out if they’re not playing FemShep.

And yes, Jen Hale is much, much more of a badass in terms of line delivery compared to Mark Meera. Thus I’ve always chosen male for Paragon and female for Renegade playthroughs.

I’ve never felt so torn about a game series in my life. I LOVED ME1. Why did they have to change the game play so dramatically between each game. Then the ending of the third really soured me from doing a replay.

I personally felt ME2 was the weak link. It was such a jarring break from an RPG to a 3rd person shooter. I seriously spent hours trying to find the gear and skill point menus only to discover they just killed those features. I felt that ME1 was the most ambitious, and while the Mako missions weren’t well thought out, there was that feeling of exploration.
