A friend has the same unit. They have a really old home which has very thick walls and floors, these units get round the obstacles.

So the comparison is your normal wireless vs plugged into the device (plugged into whichever electrical outlet that it’s in)? That is pretty darn amazing. Is your house made of lead or something? :)

could be never know lol but the wifi signal is terrible in my room so its either this or a 150 ft long Ethernet cable

Interesting - ours drops off in the far rooms as well, (though not quite that much.) But for less than $40.00 I’m going to have to look into that. I wonder if you can plug a second wireless router into that...

Yes you can i use it as a wireless access point! So I get awesome wifi as well
