The frontpage article about people stealing herses made me want to post about this, but then I realized it was actually a Gawker article and didn’t want to be associated with that.
A funeral home a half hour from where I live always has this parked outside. I don’t know if they actually use it for funerals, but it is bad ass. It is a 1940 Packard 180, I think, maybe someone else knows for sure. But come on, you’re already dressed in a suit, what better way to spend your last ride than in the back of this piece of art.
What car would you want to be taken to your grave in? Doesn’t have to be a hearse

This is a great idea for Oppos in the Mortuary business.
Step 1: Buy a Porsche 944/Ferrari 456/Scaglietti/RS7/E63 AMG/any awesome car
Step 2: Make it a custom hearse.
Step 3: Write it off as business expense
Or even better - register a business where you make no revenue because its a shell company. Buy any car and write it off as business expense.
Make it a charitable trust or something, if you wanna get extra crafty.
