My car was originally silver, here’s a pic of a fully restored 1968 1600 that sold for $50K a little while back.

I’m attempting one! I’m doing all the serious metalwork underneath first, so I can get it registered and drive it. I wish I had the money to give it a full concours restoration, but the fact is, it’s probably gonna have a ratty paint job for the whole time I own it, and I’m fine with that, I kinda like that it has a life and a character.

I’m actually already a member there, but I haven’t started a thread because the work happens so infrequently. Maybe I’ll start one soon though!
