Today, a 100 year old car called a Darracq, beat the Jochen Rindt GT40 up the hill by just over 1 second. It should truly be called the Dafuq.

The damn thing is literally a bare chassis with two seats bolted to it.

I don’t care. It’s 100 years old and looks like it would fall apart if I breathed on it too hard.

Most fast cars are like that anyways. Incredibly touchy and more fragile than Clarkson’s temper when he doesn’t get his steak.

I love the Fiat S76. Nicknamed the Beast of Turin, I’ve watched this several times already. Absolutely epic, but he isn’t pushing it as hard as the the Darracq

A BRILLIANT DRIVE - its pilot must know the car very well, indeed, to extract what appeared 101% of its potential. No doubt about it. Trully committed, BRILLIANT performance!

Fascinating to watch. This and the F1 cars were my favorite to watch speeding through goodwood. That Subaru that broke the record was FLYING, now that was an exciting watch!
