Except they made the beetle wrong. (And the fiat 500 for that matter. They only did the Mini right) they went from RR layout to FF layout. Also, why am I ranting about beetles on miata post? Does anyone else think that they made the beetle and the 500 wrong, or am I just going crazy?

I think that people are pretty much over it at this point. The Beetle’s a Golf with functionality removed that’s been back for nearly 20 years, and the 500’s a Panda with less functionality.

Except for the Mini, they created the world’s ugliest 8” speedo gauge that sits on the center of the console, between the driver and passenger. That alone destroyed the Mini line, for me.
