!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , there’s just no way I’m letting anyone borrow my car anymore. Nope.
I can give you a ride, I can pick you up and/or drop you off, but the only way someone who isn’t me is driving my car is if I can’t, and it’s not going anywhere I’m not. If we’re married...
maybe.
Outside of that, car borrowing is not a thing I’ll be doing anymore, and neither should anyone else.

I don’t loan my cars because the last time I did, it came back full of condom wrappers. Ugh.

In my first job as a walmart employee, I took a stolen pack of condoms to management (you have to tell the managers if you found a stolen thing back then)
9 months later on that same shelf, there was a stolen package of diapers. Guess the condoms broke...

I don’t even let people move my car in the driveway. The last time I did that, it didn’t end well. Anybody here want to comment on that? *ahem*

I loaned my car once to my aunt for a week. It came back with a dent on the fender. She never mentioned it.

i was at walmart getting diapers when a rather loud woman on a smartphone grabbed a can of formula mix and stuffed it under her kid in the stroller.

I don’t let anyone drive my car...even if I am in the car with them! I get nervous if the hotel I am staying at only has valet parking.
I know most of my friends have insurance, but after years of seeing friendships get ruined after folks loan out their car while they are overseas or just to goto the store; I won’t do it. My favorite was the guy who borrowed a car for 12 months and didn’t put oil in it and had the audacity to say it was broken when he got it.

Le walking through baby section at Walmart, Le baby starts crying*
“Oh, the baby must be hungry.”
* shoves unopened jar of baby food in baby’s mouth, crying stops FOREVER*
“Problem solved. Now back to Words with Friends!”

More importantly, the condoms and diapers are on the same shelf?

Completely agree - my sister in law got pissed when I wouldn’t let her “borrow” our car. So she runs off to her dad who lets her use his pickup - which she promptly ran into the side of her apt building...
