Pick 2: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls, Aston, McLaren, Porsche

Sort of a follow-up to my other topic about which brands people like…

If you had to pick 2 cars (total) from the currently-on-sale offerings of these companies, money no-object, which would you pick and why? You can pick both from the same brand if you feel so inclined. HOWEVER, since it would be so obvious, I’m going to say you can’t include the P1, LaFerrari, 918 Spyder, Veneno, One-77, etc

458 Speciale and 675LT is very tempting…sort of the pinnacle of each model. GT3 RS is a top pick too. Hopefully the roads are perfectly straight and level where you live, haha! They’re so low to the ground. So maybe replace one with a more luxury one? Hard to say.

Rolls Royce Ghost II. The comfort, safistication, craftsmanship. Would love driving (or not driving!) to feel like a vacation. Plus I throughly enjoy driving around friends and family in a nice car. Gunmetal and Quicksilver ideal paint, so close to below.

Aston Martin Vanquish Volante in something like an HD-BRG. Im very much a GT/Cruiser enthusiast. Not really into cornering Gs and tires squeeling. Give me comfort moving at the speed of sound and great looks and I’m in heaven.

Split between a Rapide or a Vantage. Porsche Cayman GT4 for sure, love the 911s but the the GT4 has me.

I think as bachelor I’d be quite happy with a Vanquish Volanté and a 911 Targa 4 GTS to go along with a sweet penthouse and country estate.

Excellent choices! The Targa 4 GTS is really the best of all worlds. (I always found it interesting how American car magazines say that the 2WD 911 is best, whereas the European ones say 4WD…)

I really like this! It’s interesting how so much of being a car enthusiast can consist of nigh-scientific analysis of numbers, stats, performance figures, Nurburgring times etc…

…but when it comes down to it, unless you’re a real race car driver, you’re not really going to be using 100% of that 100% of the time! (Or even 50%!)

This is why I think Aston is so cool. They’re the real midsection between Ferrari, Lambo, and McLaren on one side, and Rolls and Bentley on the other.
