Never watched monk. I watched all of Psych on Netflix fall semester last year. Never really felt like I was wasting my time when I watched it, unlike some of the other shows I watched.

Monk was about this detective who developed OCD after his wife was killed, got kicked off the force, but now works as an official consultant. That sounds a lot darker than it is.
