Noticed one that looked a lot like this coming out of a movie theater parking lot today. No SR20 cause driving. I really respect the fact that it has well over 500 HP with 2 turbos and a V8.

But the C Class (Klasse?) is not a very nice looking car in my opinion.

What you folks think?

When they first came out, I thought they were horribly overpriced. Even now, I still think that they were horribly overpriced when new. I still like how they look, but horribly overpriced.

Not my sort of thing but I respect the machine it is. Comfortable and quick, isn’t a looker though.

Banana shaped Mercedes are pretty tough for me to accept. That 2-door looks much better than the 4-door though

I don’t like the looks of it. The rear of the car just doesn’t work for me.

I have heard jellybean used as well, but really, in person and from every angle, C-class look like bananas.

I like them. They have a nice aggressive look to them.

This one belongs to the bartender at my local watering hole.

Maybe you could blame Mercedes for calling the CLS a coupe. I think they started that dumb trend as well.

I saw one or two in the lot almost every day at Mercedes. On my last day, a good co-worker friend took me out for a blast in one of the demo models MB brought in for evaluation. A CL550 with the then “new” M278 4.7L TT V8. 0-60 in 4.8 sec.

It was a short drive, but that entire time I could not perceive how fast we were actually going. It didn’t even feel like it pulled that hard, it just arrived briskly at mach speeds. So quiet, so smooth and stable... just incredible.

My grandpa has a cl600 which has the v12, and frankly I love it. I wouldn't buy it for myself cause I'm 19, like to row my own gears, and prefer more drama, but I love driving that car. It's so comfy, insanely powerful and does cool stuff like the seats which move to keep you in place during a corner. Without a doubt one of the nicest places to spend a commute in, plus it was 2 years used so it had massive depreciation

But depreciation works wonders. My grandpa has the cl600 with a v12 that he got for a steal
