Apple trees take a while. And fruiting trees can be tempermental. I got a huge plumb tree that looks like it’ll only give me 3 damn plumbs this year.

We have 2 mature apple trees, and one that is fruiting the first time this year. We do so much with them it’s great, from pie to hootch.

They do taste superior in every way I admit. You have to eat 5 blackberries to find one that isn’t sour. Still, the nostalgia and the painful, painful thorns of the blackberries. Can’t beat feels.
