There are some lovely shots there. Nice setting, good light.
What are you using for a camera?

Thanks!
It’s an NX300 (because I am fake), with a 45mm f1.8 lens.

Please explain. I can find a Samsung NX300, but not a Nikon.

I don’t understand

I am interested in what kind of camera you used to take those pictures. You indicated NX300, but I am not sure that that is, or why that would make you “fake.” Can you straighten me out?

It’s a Samsung. Most photographers consider it not a real camera, hence the fake comment.

How is it possible that you know when every single car show happens in the NY/CT area? I always check your feed to see what I’ve recently missed.

There are posers out there with way more expensive cameras than yours who couldn’t take the photos you’ve taken. They are very good. The picture you post here of the Alfa grill is exquisite. There is nothing fake about your photographs.
I hadn’t heard of the NX300 before you mentioned it, but I’d say it’s a solid choice in the sub-$500 micro four-thirds bracket. And I would say that with your level of skill and eye for a photograph, you are wringing every bit of potential out of that camera.
I use Canon 5D and 7D bodies and Sigma and Tamron lenses. The bodies are the real deal, but a couple of generations removed from the current models, and hence, much more affordable. I don’t know if you saw this link a week or two ago, but here are some photos I snapped of an old Cadillac: http://photography.kinja.com/sunday-driver-…
The blurry background makes for an interesting comparison with your photos. This is a much larger lens, though with a 50mm focal length on a full-frame 5D (Mark I) body. Bigger lenses and glass net shallower depth of field. The Sigma 50mm prime lens was right around $450, but you’d have to spend $1,600 on a Canon L lens to have a chance at improving the results noticeably, and even then, a degree of skill would be required.
Your photos are excellent , Brian. Keep that eye and make beautiful photos.
O.C.
