If the rim is white, with. Darker wheels look good naked. I had an 85 stepside in high school, I had the caps on I guess, my tires were a taller sidewall BF Goodrich so I guess my memory is of a larger tire around it. My truck was a former PG&E cab, my rims were greyish.

Those are the correct hubcaps for that truck. They put those on full size trucks and vans for most of the 80’s. The S-10/Astro hubcaps you’re talking about had solid black centers with the bowtie in the middle, they didn’t have the “spoke” design.

Man, I am a huge nerd for knowing that.

So far out of the 3 places I’ve asked it’s been about 90% with. There is just a few oddball that say it’s better without so I’ll be keeping them on.
