Other than 50s or 60s, I haven’t really a clue. I don’t think the hoop pockets are right for a late 50s Ford, but that would be very similar.

We just had a 4 year old birthday and my wife is feeling very emotional about the growing up thing.

the best way to look at it is, and this is my outlook. As your kid gets older the more cool stuff you can do with them - to a point, then they just become jerks for a few years almost without fail. Then after that you hopefully have a new/old best friend. Sometimes it takes longer but in the end that is pretty much how it goes down. They aren’t babies forever and it takes some people an adjustment period to deal with it

yeah, that’s my philosophy too, she’s stuck in the “i want them to be my babies forever” phase. I understand where’s shes coming from, its just different for moms and dads I guess.

indeed. We also didn’t grow them inside of us either. She’ll come around though, no doubt. Sometimes it is just sheer force of “jesus, you can write” or “wow you can climb that high” and the person just snaps out of it
