The accident happened in the Hörnchenberg tunnel near Kaiserslautern, Germany on 6/11/15. The driver of the Camry, a 24 year old woman, crashed at an apparently high rate of speed.

A quote attributed to her husband on 6/11/15: “Well, the wife totaled our Camry last night. This woman has some talent for doing the impossible. She crashed going through a tunnel, in quite an epic manner. Luckily she only has 2 fractured toes and 2 fractured ribs. That is all. I was expecting a lot worse.”
