Need a car tomorrow, gonna borrow something from CCC. E93 M3 and C63 AMG are both available. Which seat should I take?
I’ve driven a bunch of different E9x M3s so I’m kind of leaning towards to Benz simply to get a new experience. What do ya’ll think?

You know my answer. 6.2 L V8. What are you doing with it? Camera car for chasing TT R8s?

C63, duh.

Selling would love to know how they both are cause someone made me an offer on the gran Torino and we may be taking it and I'll be getting a new car if this deal goes through. The person has 3/4 of the money and proof he has it soooooo these 2 cars are options for me

For personal reasons I will explain later, go with the Daimler.

The Benz won’t be a manual, but it is a hoot to drive. I was conflicted between the C63 and my E92 when I was car shopping.
Turning off traction control on the C63 going over 85 will make you want to carry an insurance card in your boot as well as wallet incase you get separated.

The C63 is stupid fast (under 4 seconds to 60), so C63 it is.

AMG all the way baby.

The Benzo. Make sure you bring some towels to sop up the tears of all the Bimmer bros when they see your 6.3L V8.

Meeting up with some folks to shoot some stuff. No tt R8 tomorrow :/

I’m leaning that way, only because I’ve never driven one.

I already know I love the E9x M3s, and that would probably be the car I bought if it were between these two. But again, I like me some new experiences so I’ll be testing out the C63 tomorrow. Will report back.

Hah good to know, I won’t likely be disengaging TCS tomorrow. Hmm just found out the E93 is manual, now I’m even more conflicted.

I think so.

There’s a first time for everything. In fact, everyone needs a first time in a C63.
I’m still awaiting my chance.

Thanks cause they have are on my list along with NSX, BOSS 302, GT500, and ///M6.
![]() 06/15/2015 at 13:12 |

C63 if they are both automatics. Otherwise, M3.

Hard to argue with an E93 manual. Be sure to use the M mode and engage the sport mode suspension. It’ll keep with damn near anything. It won’t be as loud as the C63, but it’ll scoot.

E93 means convertible sooo...take the Benz.

Confirmed.
![]() 06/15/2015 at 13:36 |

Get an NSX. Best car on your list for sure. Plus maintenance won’t kill you.

M3 is manual, but I’ve driven sooo many of those. Want to try de benz.
![]() 06/15/2015 at 13:40 |

Ya I’m plenty familiar with the E93 . Think I’m gonna try out the C63 tomorrow.
![]() 06/15/2015 at 13:41 |
|
But still...a manual convertible. PLUS, don’t knock a convertible, shit can be way fun .
![]() 06/15/2015 at 13:56 |

A manual M3 is probably one of the best convertibles you can end up with but I’d take the C63 over it any day. Yes even on a very nice day.

Well it’s gonna be a Daily driver.

I’ll make a list on my personal blog so you can tell me what you think of the cars if you want to give feed back cause I’m making a list and weighing my options
![]() 06/15/2015 at 16:10 |
|
Sure. But the NSX is the best car in the short list you gave me. Even for daily driving.
![]() 06/15/2015 at 16:12 |

Gotcha, Also it’s up btw. I actually ave to look/hunt for a C63 AMG that’s in my range also I need to find an M3 I like color wise and option wise.

That doesn’t apply to either of these cars.

![]() 06/23/2015 at 17:33 |

I went with the Benz and liked it a whole lot more than I should.
![]() 06/23/2015 at 17:47 |

Yes. But since you seem to be alluding to the fact that the new M3/4 utilize some acoustic magic, here’s a video clip I took of a gopro on the rear bumper of an M4; the sound is still there:
![]() 06/23/2015 at 17:54 |

True or false, it pumps fake noise INTO the cabin...you know, where you really need it.

That’s a true thing that BMW has admitted to adding to new M cars. I have driven many brand new M cars and it is not a noticeable thing, nor does it in any way detract from the driving experience. I understand how people could get hung up on it in writing, but in practice it’s negligible.
