The Triumph Scrambler, notably featured (very heavily) in the recent Jurassic World movie. I love this style of bike. Not sure what to call it (does this count as a cafe racer?) but it’s pretty much the only style I could see myself riding. So basic, so utilitarian, so not-flashy. Hnnnng.

I love this style bike too. My parts manager has a Thruxton model, and I can’t seem to stop starting at it.

This is what is generally referred to as a ‘standard’. Because like you said, it’s not designed with a specific purpose, just kind of classic all around style. They’re my favorites as well.

It's considered a Scrambler (yeah, the name is also the style)

Standard isnt totally accurate for this bike, this is a ‘Scrambler’ style which typically has a higher seat, more suspension travel and ground clearance and raised up exhaust pipes to keep them out fo the dirt/mud. they’re designed for off road use.
the normal bonneville is the ‘standard’ version.

If you like that, you’ll probably like the Suzuki TU250X. 250cc of pure classic bike.

It starts at $4400 new, but it seems to be worth it.

Yeah there’s a style of bike just called scramblers. I think they were popular in the 70s
