Browsing through some of my old drawings and found this. I drew this in high school, probably around 2003. This was when I thought I knew how aerodynamics worked but I really didn’t. Now I just sort of know how aerodynamics work.
Anyhow, this is what I thought a Mercedes race car in the future could look like. Seeing how prototypes have evolved, this is probably not what a Mercedes LMP-1 would look like today. You have to wonder what a Mercedes prototype would look like though if they kept at it and didn’t let the CLR’s flip scare them away from Le Mans.

Wow, now all it needs is a Viper underneath of it. And they did run a Viper this year...
