So my wife is complaining about the Kia’s ride and NVH again. It’s a cheap car and we can’t get past that. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! about how my wife wants a luxury wagon.

She wants an Audi or Volvo and that just isn’t in the cards. But after riding in her sister’s 08 TL, she’s willing to give one of these a shot.

Plus she loves Vortex Blue.

If ride and NVH is a concern, get the Volvo.

If you must have the TSX, get the smallest factory wheels with the tallest sidewalls. My mom has a 2010 TSX and hates it, especially the "European suspension"

I was really interested in one of these last year. But the wife likes a hatch and not a full on wagon. I swear they only came in blue. I’ve seen one ever and i thought it was handsome as fuck.

My wife has an 11 TSX wagon with almost 90K on the clock. pretty sweet ride. Decent handling, lots of features and a fair bit of utility. She works for a catering company and drives all day long. You probably can't go wrong. Ours is tech package in Gray.

Paid too much out of the gate. Then because it was a clean but poorly maintained example, little things added up. Nearly $1500 in five months for repairs. Then the head gasket went.

The top of our budget while staying within our means is looking like $22k. There are a few CPO TSX wagons around with under 50k miles and 100k warranty.

A V50 is too small. A v60 cannot be had for that without tons of miles. An xc60 generally won’t qualify for CPO at that price, and I don’t want to pay what a Volvo costs to fix when something eventually breaks.
