Steam is currently selling The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition for 3 dollars right now. 3 measley fucking dollars.

There is literally not a better game on god’s green Earth that you could spend 3 dollars on. If you love RPGs with great storylines and great characters, this is a must play. Even if you only think you might be interested in it, for 3 dollars I highly suggest you pick it up. It remains one of the greatest RPGs I have ever played, and one of the best games in general that I have ever experienced.
And for 3 dollars, you might as well finally find time to enjoy it.

It’s got two entirely separate Act 2’s depending on how you go through with it. WHO DOES THAT!?
Plus, then you’re all prepped for Witcher 3, which is incredible.

My MB air isn't good enough to run them (graphics)

Those Act 2s can drastically affect the endings you might pick as well.

I question the taste of anyone who gets bored playing The Witcher 2.

I picked up 2 cheap at some point, but have never played it. Would like to beat the first one first, but got frustrated after I kept getting destroyed basically instantly by the fire wolf boss in the first area.

The combat is very strategic

Yeah, don’t know. I had been cruising, but even with potions and some other tricks I normally didn’t bother with, it was just quick death, regardless of how I approached the encounter.

The first one is really rough. The second one is incredibly improved.
Also, AFAIK, there’s not a whole lot of story connection between the games themselves.

You’re honestly better off just skipping the first one.
