There, I said it. The miata sucks. Slow, underpowered, poor mpg relative to its power and weight, crap for room. There are any number of competitors that I would rather own or drive. The Miata does nothing for me.

I feel that way about BMW’s except they aren’t under powered. I think I’d rather have another Ford Tempo than a BMW. I am not expecting to live long here on Oppo haha.

I only like bad cars what can I say.

Aight... everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Have you driven one though? and I don’t mean oh my buddy let me rip around in his for 15min I mean you really drove one hard on a good road or track or something of the like. Maybe you would still hate it but maybe you would also understand why some people don’t....

but it hits you in the feels, superb gearbox too. you are entitled to your opinion, I respect that.

this might shock you, the Nissan Skyline GT-R and GT-R do absolutely nothing for me either.

I don’t need to drive a BMW to know I don’t like them. My buddy told me it cost him CAD $500 to replace his headlight assembly. That is reason enough!

Autocrossed an NB and tracked an NA. Hated both of them. Sloppy suspension and crawling out of corners sucks. So I agree the Miata sucks.

I was actually replying about the miata because his complaints about it all seemed to be about the driving/living with experience. Yeah that’s fair, maintenance costs/part prices on German cars tend to scare me away too, though to be fair a headlight assembly for my Focus costs 1200 USD from the dealer so a lot of modern cars are getting pretty $$$.

My car may be crappy, old and much maligned, but my headlight assembly cost me $30 at the local pick and pull. It even came with a headlight bulb.

Oh I totally agree. I like that I can get parts for my older cars for dirt cheap I was just saying that lately its been amazing how expensive a lot of parts even on domestic economy cars have become.
