Can’t really get a good Motorsports watch that fits my 38-40mm wrist preference without shelling out a couple outrageous grand, but I like Hamilton’s subtle presence.

Also they were used (SPOILERS!!!) to transmit data about gravity through multidimensional space inside a black hole, so that’s cool...

After the Monaco debacle, I wouldn’t truck Lewis with my timekeeping.

How about some Autodromos?

Kinda pricey, and too big for my wrist. Lambretta Imola is cool too, but again at 46mm, too big for my wrist.

Autodromos look good but are a ripoff. Almost $1,000 for inexpensive Japanese automatic movements.

I’ve got a Khaki King Scuba and I love it. The day/date function is excellent for daily use. Look into a Khaki King Auto - same design as the ones you posted but you get the day/date.

I know, but at that price point Autodromos are the only new watches I would consider.

I have that same problem/taste, I won’t wear anything over 43mm, and even that is a bit too much, how large are Autodromos?

Hamilton makes quality pieces for less than Autodromo. If we’re talking real watches you should be buying anything under $3,000.

40mm. I guess not as big as I thought, but more than I would prefer.

I just don’t like the design, I know they are great watches but I just don’t like them. For around 1000 bucks I’d get an Autodromo. I usually go for vintage Breitlings, Heurs and Omegas though.

Oh no, those are awful, I hate that.

Kinja'd!!!

I’m talking about these at around 600 bucks.

Autodromos are very pretty, but I just can’t pay that much for something that is worth $300.

I support this decision. One day I would like to buy a Hamilton Khaki

They are $600, but I understand where you are coming from, the price would make A LOT more sense if it were fully automatic.

If you want watches with an automotive theme, take a look at Redline . This is one of my favorites:
