Ok, I won’t lie, I really want a golf cart. Something to drive and have fun with on the campgrounds. Looking at various prices on what I want one to have, I discovered something interesting. Apparently Ezgo offers a Limited Slip Differential for their electric model golf carts. I wonder...can it drift? :D

When I worked for an Apt complex we had Club Cars. They can “drift” if made to. Rain, Snow, Grass.. Yeah, they were fun.
We broke the front frame horns on one by Cowboying it. That was a bitch to explain to Corporate.

Nice. I’m looking at the older models, as the prices would be more in my range. I really want a gas once because they have a bit of a ‘umph’ to them.

Gas is a good way to go. They’re a bit beefier. Or so I’ve heard.
We couldn’t go gas because we had to store them indoors and local codes.. Bla Bla..
I’m pretty good at finding weak points.

I just got finished whipping a club cart for the last few days while staying on Bald Head Island Nc. Quite an interesting thing to have to drive.

Is that the extended body version? How are those to drive?

I hear the modern electrics have a lot of torque too.

Buy cheap gas powered EZ-Go, then retrofit the LSD, then boost gas engine?

Yep, it was the long wheelbase. Wasn't too awful, top speed was around 20 mph, so some moderatey fun times were had.

I just think it’s weird the wheelbase is longer, but the body width is the same. Doing donuts would be difficult....:)

I'm looking for a cheap, used one. But I can't find any that are actually cheap and have the necessary extras. Like seats 4, and headlights & taillights. I guess I can also install the lights on my own....

Yeah, It felt really top heavy, and as if it always wanted to rollover.

Fun fact: EZGo is another subsidiary of the corporation I work for.
I can apparently get a discount on golf carts

Huh, I figured that might be an issue. You would have to be super careful while driving. In planning on hauling my wife and 2yr old kid, and when the little one gets older, her friends. She would not be driving it until shes ready on practicing for a drivers license.
Some Parents here let their youngins drive the carts, with a gaggle of friends, and no adult onboard. Not under my roof...

I had to look it up but Textron, :). That’s awesome you get discounts though! Since the company’s division I work for creates applications for other parties, i don't have the chance to get discounts from them since the apps are unique.
