It’s the end of the week and I want to know what everyone thinks about an automotive hypothetical to ponder through the weekend.

Today’s topic is Ferrari. Specifically, should they produce a naturally aspirated, manual Ferrari along side their standard line up? Does it fit within Ferrari’s ideal and image? Is there even a market?

A lot of articles these past few days have been hinting at the potential such a car would have. One front engined v12 and one mid engined v8 sold right alongside the current turbo and hybrid power-performers.

So does it make sense for Ferrari? They clearly don’t need the money but it also seems like a no brainer to sell essentially a parts bin special to enthusiasts.

Just something to ponder over the weekend I guess....

I think they should copy Porsche and have a driver-oriented model. At least I hope they will.

LONG LIVE THE STICK

Money-wise, it does NOT make sense. Cool car, but no.

It’s not a parts bin special, except for maybe the Maserati manual in the California. But who wants a California?

Parts bin special is in reference to the fact that they wouldn’t necessarily have to make a new engine or chassis, perhaps only develop a new, tougher manual tranny
