We would have gotten a Spark, but they offered us a Sonic for only $25 more for the whole rental period. Too bad it’s a sedan, but it has XM so I’m pleased.

Here it is, as seen from space.

Now we’re eating dinner at In-N-Out for the first time ever.

The Sonic sedan looks weird. I don’t see too many of them, most Sonics are hatchbacks

I go to school in Oklahoma and we were going to drive to Austin, TX (4 hours) to get In n Out.

I didn’t want to die the first time I eat here, so I got a double double. Pretty good, though I didn’t see God or anything like that. It’s definitely higher quality than nearly every other fast food chain out there.

While I like how they do the Spark’s interior better than the Sonic, as a multi-day event the Sonic is the lesser of two evils.

No Fiesta, Mazda2, Fit, Versa, or Yaris option?

They need to axe that 500- or 1000-miles-from-HQ rule they have. As much good stuff as I hear about I-N-O they need it in the Midwest and beyond.

At least we have Jack in the Box, Hardee's (aka Carl's Jr.), Rally’s (aka Checker’s), and White Castle, though I don't frequent fast food that often.

While we were walking to the car I spotted a Mazda 2 and a Yaris, but I would have chosen the Sonic out of those anyway. So far I’m pleasantly surprised.
