The Tidaholm Bruk (works) was founded in the eponymous town in the Middle Ages and by the beginning of the 20th century had progressed to the making of cars. They proceeded from there to the manufacture of buses and had considerable if brief success with these until an economic recession forced the works to close in 1934.
