My mum has esoteric tastes. Me and my sister have done away with most of the truly weird stuff since she moved out, but it’s hard to get rid of tiles and a log-burner.
In fairness to her, the stove plus tiles does make for a rather pleasant Roman bath-esque heated floor in the front room, if you let it burn for long enough. It’s nice in winter.

Wood burning stoves are fantastic! I plan on putting one in my living room at some point.
