I Drove 525 Miles Today...To Get a Sandwich

I drove from CT to Watkins Glen and back again for no other reason than to eat a sandwich...and to put 525 miles on the odometer of my new WRX. Glen Mountain Market Bakery and Deli has some fantastic focaccia sandwiches!

Now I only have 118 miles remaining before I complete the 1000 mile break-in period. Then I can finally go past 3000 RPM! Tomorrow should be a great day!

I remember the 1,000 mile break in on my 5.0 Mustang. It was boring not being able to rev it to its 7K redline.

So close! As a fellow WRX owner, I say just bang it out right now, then drive it like you stole it. Also, my 2014 (I know different engine) was fine with no oil change until 3000 miles. As soon as break in was done, WOT pull because yolofuckboi.
