My average MPGs went up by 0.1MPG! I’m now getting 23.1! Why is it now that this car is giving me good numbers? Perhaps there’s some semi-satanic work at hand...
Now to bore myself with horrible re-run episodes of Garage Squad. Granted, that episode was rather educational, they still ruined a Datsun 240z.....

Could be, winter blend fuel is a bitch, and a station could have winter fuel or a mixture there of in their tanks for months on end depending on their tank size/traffic.
It’s the only variable you have no real control over /shrug

It’s attempting to offset your increased fuel usage now that the 911 is running again.

Winter blend fuel does decrease MPG, but IMO temperature is a bigger factor. When it’s warm/hot out, the engine warms up quicker so the injectors aren’t dumping as much fuel on start up trying to warm it up. I also have a theory that since colder air is more dense, giving more oxygen to make more power, that the warmer air gives less oxygen changing the AF ratio so the computer compensates by using less fuel.

Combination of winter fuel and weather.
