Ever see a car in the junkyard or at a body shop with it’s headlights removed? It doesn’t really look like anything. Years ago all cars had to have the same round or square headlights yet they were all distinct. Now it’s basically up to the headlights to distinguish makes and models from each other.
I’ve seen a bunch of Audi A8’s with their LED headlights(not DRL) and was wondering, how much different does it really look from all the other Audi’s.

So you can see what’s in front of you at night!

Even going from white/chrome(reflective?) to black made a big different on the Stringbean.
I think they make a big deal. Anytime I see a 2 series with non projector or no Angel eyes I cant help but think less of it.
They’re also getting pretty crazy with the Acura jewel eyes. Imagine what the front would look if it needed a big round reflector headlight instead?

Mercedes makes it really easy to see this by making LED lights option on the C and E classes.

I personally think it makes a big deal visually. I always liked the multipod projector lamps of the 2000s (Infiniti 2nd gen Q, Mazda 3, BMW 3 and 5, etc.) It gives the car eyes. The current LEDs and more simple mono pod projectors are less interesting - makes the car look like a robot - no soul.

Oh how I wish someone could shop some reflectors onto the new Acura’s. I’m not really a fan of that look but would love to see how crappy it would look with cheap lights.

They’d have to be the same shape/size like with the Audi though. Im not even sure how a reflector dish in that shape would work [terribly]
