A few days ago I found a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and mused how once and a while a truly rare and unique car jumps out at you and makes it impossible to miss. Case it point: on this grey and cloudy day, behind some random friggin office building, I happened across this. Few cars don’t require any form of introduction or explanation. This is one of them. It may be one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen in the wild. As my dad put it, “That’s not a Cadillac. That’s the Cadillac.”

The money shot. Only downside: Not a Biarritz. But that’s like complain your Ferrari 250 isn’t a GTO.

I honestly can’t think of a single car that grabs as much attention and is as beautiful in person as a ‘59 Cadillac. Hell, I think they’re prettier than E-Types. They're easily the most beautiful American car ever made, quite possibly the most beautiful car in the world. People who think these are played out and cliché have clearly never seen one in person.

I love that the designers made the taillights look like the end of a rocket booster. It is one of the best designs of all time.
