I think the 911 lacks sex appeal.

The 991 GT3 has this weird lower lip ... but apart from that, I don’t quite see where you’re coming from.

Think of it this way: If Porsche cared about looks, they would not have built the Panamera.

I actually strongly agree. To me, a 911 is just the standard car, it’s bought not because you are attractive but because you want to be attractive and think this is the entry price to attractiveness. The Aston is something that you implicitly have to be attractive to not look silly in.

Like, the 911 is a nice two piece suit. The Aston is a high quality custom made three piece suit with a pocket watch. A classless ugly dude cannot pull off the Aston.

That’s because you don’t look at a 911 in any other part but the ass. Always the ass. You always look for and look at the ass of a 911, especially a GT3, turbo, or GT2 car.

I kind of agree. 911 lost its sex appeal in the 2000s. Now they look sort of sterile.

the 911 does indeed lack sex appeal.

i specifically drive my falling apart old british car, consistently pouring fluids in the top to watch them drip out the bottom, sweating from a so-so air conditioner, instead of my 911 exactly because of this.

its an exquisite piece of machinery. truly sublime engineering. but i have yet to get a thumbs up while driving it. whereas my jaguar, crappy paint job and all, gets head nods, thumbs up, waves, hell a sexy woman in a short dress just jumped the other day as i was stopped at a light, before even asking if she could.

GT3 is more purposeful than being a looker, I find the front and rear fascias a bit overly busy.

But there are others.... hummmina-hummina.... RUF is doing particularly well with turning the 991 911 up to 11.

And if you are talking about 911s in general... the rebuttal to kill all dissent is Singer.

If this isn’t sex appeal to you... then I think we just need to otherwise keep our turn-ons to ourselves, and leave it at that.
