If all goes well this Saturday, the V 12 Merc part of my username will become reality. I’ll be taking my father’s C orvette from Minneapolis to Chicago and back in one day to buy a 2004 mercedes S600 with the Designo interior . Im also gonna try and visit the billy goat bar and explore  Chicago. I’m beyond exited right now

That is the one of the best places to buy fancy pants cars in Chicago!

I only know one guy who bought an Acura (from the self-destructing auto transmission years) and it worked perfect for him, plus the negotiation stuff was fairly straight forward. This was several years ago, but I’ve stopped in last year, and they seemed nice enough. Wish I could say more :/

It seems everyone needs to judge car dealers more on the absence of complaints rather than an excess of praise.

Its been at some US car specialist in Bremerhaven for the past 6 weeks where people are currently trying to replace its ultra slim headlights with something more Euro-roadlegal, something that was never an issue while it was registered in the UK. They seem to be the only ones who would take the job, according to the company I actually tasked to ready it for the Germany vehicle inspection for imports. Business as usual I guess.

I would offer myself to hang out with you but we’re out of town this weekend. (potential) Congrats! If you want to have a nice drink on the river, try O’Brien’s Waterfront (or any of the similar places on the riverwalk between State and the lake).

Also a fine choice of dealership. Bentley Gold Coast usually has some interesting vehicles out on the weekends and McLaren Chicago does too.
