It’s the first time ever we’re getting a car detailed and he told me to look for someone near LA to get it detailed by. Super clean cars are so cool I can’t wait to see the engine bay exactly as clean and pristine as it was the day we got it.

Dad, I got the Windex and the Pledge, I’ll detail that engine bay for you.

People complain about how die cast model makers use just a black molded piece of plastic for the engine. Well for the LS, it’s the most accurate representation ever.

Get rid of the plastic. Let the V8 breathe!

that is the easiest engine detail ever ever. All they are going to do is wash it and put some silicone on it and call it done. And it will look fine, but I wouldn’t pay someone to do it. My Peugeot on the other hand...

That’s a cheaper model. Probably around $80 at most. This is an AutoArt model, one of the best. Will cost north of $200 for a 1:18 scale model.

If someone paid $80 for the black one I’d have to slap them. Would never pay $80 for something with hood hinges like that...my $85 Senna 190E has the correct Benz hinges.

Just a subtle poke that working on your car is bad and only for bad people.
