Spotted in front of
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
in Milwaukee on my way in to brunch last Sunday: a Honda Element with wood paneling. I’m not sure if it was real wood but they seem to have gone to the trouble to make a contrasting border for the trim. I...don’t entirely hate it.

The wood is contrasting with the plastic.

I actually like it. Plus, it'll be easier to find your car, :).

I think I’d like it if the wood paneling covered all of the lower side that wasn’t plastic. I don’t care for this gap here

Sorry, but I’ve never understood the appeal of that, even when it came from the factory.

not like it was hard to find an Element first of all.
I like it too, but I always had a soft sport for the Element.

True, but I’m thinking in terms of grocery shopping. Or a parking lot. The wood makes it easier to spot amongst various other cars. For example, my pt’s body color. I don’t even have to remember where I parked, I just look for the blue.
