in Milwaukee on my way in to brunch last Sunday: a Honda Element with wood paneling. I’m not sure if it was real wood but they seem to have gone to the trouble to make a contrasting border for the trim. I...don’t entirely hate it.

I think I’d like it if the wood paneling covered all of the lower side that wasn’t plastic. I don’t care for this gap here

not like it was hard to find an Element first of all.
I like it too, but I always had a soft sport for the Element.

True, but I’m thinking in terms of grocery shopping. Or a parking lot. The wood makes it easier to spot amongst various other cars. For example, my pt’s body color. I don’t even have to remember where I parked, I just look for the blue.
