Legit question. If you can get the same weight distribution and interias as a rear mid-engine car, is there any real disadvantage to a front mid-engine car?

Wow this looks really cool. Maybe once the DP cars are ineligible and the GTE cars get ditched in favor of GT3s then GM will want to race this at Le Mans. One can only dream.
