What do you do when you miss your exit on the freeway?

Why, you back up of course! And don’t bother with that pesky shoulder. Just reverse straight up the active lane of traffic? What’s that you say? You’re driving a massive tourbus full of people? No problem, go ahead anyway! What’s the worst thing that could happen?

My favorite part? Not one single driver honked at him for this dangerous maneuver, yet when another driver had to make a last minute change (relatively) safely...

Tour bus operators are the often the worst damn operators on the road. They are always stopping in the middle of the damn street during rush hour and by law don’t care.

Wow is that guy lucky or what that he didn't cause an accident. Crazy! The bus driver should definitely be fired for safety reasons. One more reason to hate buses.

Unbelievable! I hope his employers saw this.

Maybe everyone was too puzzled as to what the bus was doing to honk...

I want to say this happened in Maryland as this is a normal thing to see every day. I am constantly dodging folks coming through the divide or are in reverse on the super busy interstate. I refuse to let them merge if I can help it.

We were going to go to the next exit, but traffic was light and we were very unfamiliar with the area. It was still probably the better idea.

No way in hell I would actually reverse up the shoulder, despite what I said in the video.

Some highways it’s actually a major issue to miss it. Down at the western half of the MassPike there might be 10-20 miles between exits, so if you miss it while heading to say, your cousin’s graduation ceremony, you’re gonna miss the event. I’m sure the problem is exponentially worse out in less populated places such as the desert areas in the country.

If you miss your exit, and the next one is 10-20 miles away, then you’ll have plenty of time to think about how you can pay more attention next time

We’re talking about a hypothetical graduation here. And there was hypothetical traffic that was too hypothetically dense for a hypothetical inexerienced driver to merge over to the exit in time.

Plenty of hypothetical time to think about what hypothetically happened and what could hypothetically be done to keep the hypothetical situation from happening again in the hypothetical future

haha I was in an area I was used to, went to get ont he highway and noticed there were two roads, one on one off and I was on the wrong one. I more or less did what the guy i video #2 did. certainly not something I could have done with the WRX
