that was indeed a motivator, we assumed that a car sitting on blocks all night would be an invitation to thieves, at least to break a window. so a midnight mission was had

yeah, no apparent damage to the brake rotors, the dust shield had to be bent back, but getting a jack under the front was a bit of a pain.
