How do you describe the slingshot to viewers? If you’re any number of motoring sites, you talk about the specs and handling and all that.
If you’re Kelley Blue Book, doing a video review for some god damn reason, you take it through a CAR WASH.

10/10 for taking it through a car wash while still inside of it. It’s nuts he didn’t wear a helmet next to those spinners though. I’d never even consider doing that.
The Slingshot seems like a 7/10ths execution of a good concept. It looks cool, can handle the rain, and it uses a common engine where parts will be easily available (and which allows for some aftermarket upgrade room). But it doesn’t seem fast enough and I keep hearing about how the brakes stink and the handling isn’t all that sporty. It’s also still way too expensive.

Hmmm... Interesting. When I reach that point, I may consider it. For now, 2 wheels.

I think it makes a lot more sense as a 3-wheeled car in the class of Ariel, KTM, etc... than it does as a motorcycle with three wheels.

Most of the things I’ve heard about the handling have been very positive. I’m not sure how much stock I put in KBB’s take on it.
It’s hard to say it’s too expensive when it’s a third of the price of its main rivals.

I know that Matt Farah wasn’t very impressed when he drove it in one of his One-Takes, and particularly complained about the brakes.

Funny, I came away with the impression that he liked it a lot, with some complaints about the brakes and the steering.
