Either that or they (like sooooo many other people) have a non-functioning Jag on their property and decided to make some use of its parts.

Man, at least try to make it look right if you’re going to do it! This needs to come down the hood about 3 feet. It’s a Jaguar not a unicorn

I got a Cadillac LaSalle in at work that received the same treatment. I also saw a first gen Taurus SHO on the interstate yesterday.

Or they were just trying to channel that car’s very distant relationship to the X-type.

That X-type is too a real Jaaaaag

Well, Ford did used to have a leaping greyhound hood ornament - if you squint, maybe the jaguar kind of looks similar.

When was going to college there was a guy on campus with a Taurus that color but the face lifted model, without the odd ball headlights. It had darker green ghost flames, a stick on, but actually color matched stick on hood scoop, a BIG chrome skull sticker on the back window, and 20” rims. and the guys winter vehicle was an F-150 with a bunch of Autozone/Ebay chrome and skull stuff, and cheesy American Racing 17” chrome wheels. Best part was they had vanity plates, SKULLZ or SKULLY on the Taurus and SKULLX on the F-150.
