Goodness, don’t even get me started on the new Exploder. There’s like tons of regular civillian new Exploders out there AND THE COPS STARTED BUYING THEM WITH ALLOY WHEELS. It’s virtually impossible to tell who’s a cop and who’s not now.
![]() 05/27/2015 at 19:44 |

yup, up here too. Good to know my tax dollars are going to buy alloys so they can fool the public better. Our staties have blacked out alloys on some of them too. And they sell the blackout grille to the public on the other side.

I don’t know why they do this.
IMO, they’re spending way too much money on newer vehicles when the old ones are perfectly fine. Like the Government retiring cars at 5,000 miles just as an example.

That’s a bit unsettling
![]() 05/27/2015 at 19:48 |

yeah I saw that the other day. Ridiculous. But this is why we have lines up and down the highway of people pulled over to support it. Like people going to work - sometimes at 8:30 on a weekday morning I used to see 10-12 cops with people pulled over, in less than 10 miles - usually within 1 mile

Yup, every day I see at least two people pulled over and multiple other cops waiting to pull people over.

I’ve always felt Ford ripped off (not sure if that’s the right term) but maybe borrowed? Stole? Used? Raped?
They “owned” Aston at the time? Right?
Anyways....yeah. Totally an Aston look on that Ford front end.

I never noticed that before. The GTO really does just look like an up-sized Cavalier.

You can’t just post two accords. Nobody is fooled.
On a side note, I miss when Nobody was a regular poster here and all sorts of name puns could be made.

Those literally look nothing alike to me, but maybe I just focus on other parts of a car for identification than you do.

I don’t know if I should be mad that you're insulting my car by comparing it to a Cavalier, or because you're right.

For what it’s worth, my friend has a GTO like this and I think it’s a fantastic car. I’ve driven it and loved it, despite its styling being a bit understated.

Isolated may fool some, but can’t fake it when you’re next to the real deal.

I love mine too, swear by it. Yes the styling is bland, but it’s the sleeper effect. The ‘04’s like mine even had the exhaust outlets on one side to further the anonymity. It's got me out of my fair share of trouble.

Ford’s message to Aston “I owned you!” while furiously spanking it outside their dealership window.
Aston just let’s it be because they feel bad and don’t want to make a scene.

It definitely a stretch, but to me the rear window rake, the point at the end of that window and the door creasing is somewhat similar.

I’ll concede that to you, and why do they rally the i20 instead of the veloster?
