Who lives in/near Vermont or has always wanted to?
just interviewed two people one stared blankly like were were talking gibberish and the other basically said “I’m not who you need.”

It sounds cool but I don’t have any of the experience that you want. Plus I don’t think 20hrs/wk. is enough to justify moving from Wisconsin.

the fact of the mater is, we probably have 40 hours a week work of work, but only for 6 months of the year, so we’re advertising it as PT hoping to get someone who want to build thIer App empire or do consulting in the other 20/wk... But yeah, there’s no one biting.

The last thing approaching coding I did was Visual Basic and Cisco Certified Networking Academy in high school. I don’t think I’d be much help lol.

Does the job come with a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream consumption assistance program?
:-)

nope. There’s better local ice cream to be had anyway ;) but we treat employees well and I wouldn’t want to guarantee it but with the right argument yo might get health and dental for PT...

My knowledge of php and .net is limited to a few courses back in college. However I work with SQL db’s for a living, and wouldn’t mind working on some of this stuff on the side. Is this a local only position? I’d be more than interested in working remotely and having frequent conferences to discuss goals and expectations. I’m emailing my resume - for what its worth, I’m in KC.

we’ve been working with a contractor, but we’re hoping to get someone in house to be “closer to the action” though our current contractor has other clients, most of whom are easier and or larger than us, so it’s hard to keep his attention. We’ll sure have a look at that resume though! Thanks!

yeeeeah, maybe not. I’ve been learning JavaScript on the job, but the problem is we need someone who already knows it... (and more)
